BECKETT DIGITAL MANUSCRIPT PROJECT - INDIVIDUAL ACCESS

Synopsis

The purpose of the Beckett Digital Manuscript Project (www.beckettarchive.org) is to reunite the manuscripts of Samuel Beckett's works in a digital way, and to facilitate genetic research: the project brings together digital facsimiles of documents that are now preserved in different holding libraries, and adds transcriptions of Beckett's manuscripts, tools for bilingual and genetic version comparison, a search engine, and an analysis of the textual genesis of his works. How to subscribe to the Beckett Digital Manuscript Project? You can subscribe to the digital archive by choosing this product, by then clicking the ‘order’ button and completing and submitting the order form. After your order has been paid (by paypal or credit card) and registered, you will receive an e-mail with your log-in and password. IMPORTANT: this may take one or two days, because the system is not fully automated. The Project is a work-in-progress. Each year at least one new research module accompanied by a book publication will be made available on the online platform. Subscription fees for individual access as of 2019: € 70 per annum (calendar year, i.e. from January 2020 till December 2020). The purchase of a subscription-based publication is for a minimum term of one year. The contract will renew automatically at the current subscription price, unless the following year’s subscription is cancelled in writing (beckett@aspeditions.be) prior to 1 December of the current term.
