Synopsis
Dit liber amicorum bundelt teksten van meer dan veertig auteurs die terugblikken op het onderzoek en de professionele levensloop van Sonja Snacken. De volgende thema’s komen aan bod: mensenrechten en rechten voor gedetineerden, punitiviteit, reductionisme, comparatief penologisch onderzoek, gevangenisonderzoek en andere penologische vraagstukken die Sonja bestudeerde tijdens haar rijke carrière aan de Vrije Universiteit Brussel. This liber amicorum brings together writings by more than forty authors, who reflect on the research and professional life course of Sonja Snacken. The following themes are discussed: human rights and prisoners’ rights, punitiveness, reductionism, comparative penological research, prison research and other penological topics that Sonja studied during her rich career at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Ce liber amicorum rassemble des textes de plus de quarante auteurs, qui reflètent sur le recherche et parcours professionnel de Sonja Snacken. Les thèmes suivants sont abordés: les droits de l’homme et droits des prisonniers, la punitivité, le réductionnisme, la recherche pénologique comparative, la recherche sur les prisons et d’autres questions pénologiques que Sonja a étudiées au cours de sa riche carrière à la Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
