Sami Azar
Sami Azar coordinates the Arabic language classes for children at the VUB, as part of the ALEF project, where he oversees the development of innovative teaching curricula as well as the daily implementation of the project. Having graduated in Physics as well as Teacher education, Sami started his career as a teacher of physics. He went on to establish the Athena Institute, a secondary school for pupils aged 12-18, in his hometown in Syria, where he worked as school principal as well as physics teacher.
